The situation
Most of what gets sold as AI sales tooling is field-service software wearing a chatbot skin: a script, a form, and a hand-off point the moment a conversation gets specific. That does not actually know the business it claims to represent, so we did not want to build that, or sell it.
What we built instead runs through the firm's own relationship database rather than beside it. The agents are trained on the firm's actual record, the real people, companies and relationship history already sitting in the system, so a conversation draws on what the firm genuinely knows rather than a generic script written once and never touched again. That is a deliberate choice about where the intelligence should live: built out of the same data the team already works from every day, not bolted on top as a separate layer.
It also runs under a hard governance rule that is the actual point of the system: nothing an automated agent produces, a comment, a draft, an outreach message, reaches a client or a partner's public voice without a person approving it first.
AI sales tooling sold in the market is mostly a scripted chatbot wearing a new interface, disconnected from the specific business it claims to represent, which produces generic output the moment a conversation gets past the first exchange, and unsupervised automated outreach carries real reputational risk if it runs without a review step.
Built sales agents trained directly on the firm's own relationship database, the real people, companies and history already on file, so a conversation reflects what the firm actually knows; and set a hard rule that no automated output reaches a client or a partner's public voice without a person approving it first.
The agents now run as infrastructure behind the firm's own sales motion and behind client engagements under the same discipline: trained on real, current relationship data, and gated by a human approval step before anything goes out.
