Common Ground Systems: the workflows we built for ourselves

We built these for ourselves and use them in our own ventures. Eight systems Common Ground built to run its own portfolio, told as projects: what each one is, why we built it, the decision, and what it produced.

Common Ground sells operating seats, brand, capital structure and technology to other people's businesses. Before any of it went out the door, it ran inside our own. A firm that tells a client to fix their business development before their pitch deck should be able to point at its own business development workflow. A firm that sells a data room pattern should have built the pattern on itself first. Every system in this room is one we needed, built for our own use, and are now willing to run for someone else.

That order matters more than it sounds like it should. A system built to sell looks finished before it has been tested. A system built to use gets tested every day by the people who built it, which is a harder and more honest kind of proof.

This room holds eight of those systems: a public-bid outreach workflow, a voice-replication engine, the credibility and story pipeline that keeps our own claims straight, a client-facing software suite, a CRM migration that taught us to check a fact before trusting a shape, the data room pattern this very page is an instance of, a set of AI sales agents held to a human gate, and the operating system that runs the sessions behind all of it.

The digital-twin line itself, voice, credibility, wins, identity, profiles, work history, opinions and a personal vault, now lives in its own room, Continuum; the voice engine and the credibility and story pipeline stay here too, in full, because they run the firm's own operation as much as they run anyone's twin.

Problem

Everything a firm like ours eventually sells (bid outreach, a voice for the record, a claims register, a client portal, a CRM shaped to real relationships, a data room, an AI sales agent, a way of running its own sessions) has to exist inside the firm before it can be trusted outside it.

What we did

Built each one to solve a real problem we had, checked it against our own use, and kept the parts that survived that check.

Result

Eight systems in active use inside Common Ground's own portfolio, several of them now running for clients under their own name.
